April 2017 Easter Parade
Our
April meeting was an opportunity for members to show their artistic skills. We
were pleased to have a return visit from Steve Wheeler who told us ....."Art is for everybody - have some fun." So we did,
using our artistic eyes and skills to blend watercolours and paint our vases
of flowers beautifully-and our artistic talents didn't end there.
The competition to produce an Easter
bonnet stretched some members' imaginations to produce the most amazing
head wear as our photo show.
Congratulations to all who entered in the fun .

Freewheelers at our March meeting
We were interested to hear about the service Freewheelers offer our communities. They are a Charity funded service that offers fast and immediate out of hours service to the NHS, transporting blood, diagnostic specimens, records, medication and equipment.
This service is completely free to the NHS and offers an invaluable service enabling patience to get urgent treatment ASAP.
